I liked the idea of having a character like Cougar - who on the surface is majorly unstable - and pitting him against his polar opposite.

YES! YES YES YES!

Because everyone thinks "he's a sniper, he's gotta be totally fucked up" and he is, sure, but there's that solid rock underneath that lets him take that perfect shot.

Whereas everything seems to slide off Jensen, and he's all grins and sarcasm and it's just this candy coating on top of this totally flawed structure.

And that's SO AWESOME.
