It can be ridiculously easy, I think.

Check with e_goddess about putting up a post on losers_fic which would be like the DVD commentfic party (http://community.livejournal.com/losers_fic/51903.html), and call it the great big AU party, people can then post crazy-awesome concepts, other people can post their crazy-awesome stories and boom boom boom, we have a party.
